Hosted Voice Recording
Hosted Voice Recording Interface
The recording software provides a user interface with secure web access to recordings. Users can search recordings by:
| Time & Date. | |
| Calling Number (or known user details). | |
| Called Number (or known user details). | |
| Length of recording. |
Recordings are available in WAV or MP3 format and can be downloaded to authenticated users over a secure internet link (https) or, if users prefer, by email. Recordings are held on our server for 6 months minimum period, or longer as agreed with the customer.
Users can download recordings to their own PC or server whenever they chose and as often as they like whilst the recordings remain on our server. Each recording is automatically deleted from our server when its lifetime expires.

Hosted Configurations
Traditional Phone Line Customers

Call recording is a standard feature of X-on's hosted PBX. All the customer’s inbound calls pass through the X-on network and are recorded by our hosted recording system. For outbound call recording, customers need to dial a prefix number that sends the call over the PSTN to X-on’s hosted system before onward routing to the called destination. Prefix numbers can usually be programmed into the handsets.
Sometimes existing customer PSTN equipment can also be configured to duplicate the PSTN call as a VoIP (SIP) call, in which case calls could be sent through to X-on for recording without the need to dial a prefix number.
VoIP Customers

For customers with handsets connected to X-on by a data link (VoIP), all inbound and outbound calls are routed through X-on’s network where they can be recorded. This also applies to all mobile calls where customers’ mobiles are connected to X-on’s Mobile Virtual Network
