Email to Voice Services
Convert Email Text Voice Calls
X-on Email to Voice allows contact with recipients who are either temporarily, or permanently, unreachable via SMS, such as on landline phones and mobile phones on networks without SMS messaging.
Speech synthesis provides a highly intelligible voicing of the text in the email which is then delivered to the recipient as a phone call.
The Email to Voice service can also deliver voice calls to bulk distribution lists.
Acknowledgement of receipt is provided.
To send an Voice Call using Email (open sending):
An email is addressed in the format <recipient's mobile number>@x-onvoice.com and the contents are delivered as a voice call to the recipient's mobile.
To receive a Voice Call sent from Email (preset sending):
You will create an email address such as MikesPhone@x-onvoice.com (subject to availability) in your account and enter a phone number, such as your office phone number, where the voice calls will be delivered. Consequently anyone, or any notification service, can send an email to MikesMobile@x-onvoice.com and you'll receive the message as a voice call on the designated phone.
To send Voice Calls to a group of recipients using Email (bulk sending):
A distribution list of phone numbers of intended recipients can be associated with a chosen sending 'from' email address in your account. Our system will then produce a unique reference code to which you can send your message i.e. send an email to refcode@x-onvoice.com and the recipients on the list will receive a voice call reading of the email contents.
