Junior Support Analyst

Job Description

Support Analyst required to work as a member of the team supporting our wide range of telecoms products. You will be required to provide level 1 and 2 technical support and act as a troubleshooter for internal and external customers ensuring issues are resolved in a timely fashion. The role includes building standard services and working closely with our Sales and Development teams.

Essential Job Functions & Duties

	1st and 2nd line customer support performing diagnostics of problems from customers and internal staff
	Logging calls received and responding to requests for technical assistance
	Issue management ensuring that support incidents are dealt with in an accurate and timely fashion
	Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
	Building standard services
	Complete bug fixes and simple code enhancements
	Working with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met
	Working with development staff to validate and certify changes to applications and serve as technical support for different development projects
	Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
	Other IT related duties as required

Experience in any of the following skills:

	Working knowledge of SQL
	Understanding of relational database structures
	Familiar with making database queries
	Knowledge of a variety of computer software, network systems, operating systems, and installation procedures
	Experience using Web applications
	Familiarity with Google apps
	Networking experience with exposure to underlying security issues
	Understanding of Internet technologies, web servers and web proxy servers

Salary: From £10,000 depending on experience.
